Our History
Founded in 2003 in Bountiful, Utah, by Sister. Charlotte, and The Ladies of Charity of Northern Utah a lay outreach ministry guided by the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul. The organization initially utilized a shed at the Daughters of Charity convent as a temporary food pantry. Volunteers packed boxes filled with food and essential items, delivering these boxes to several families in the valley each month.
As demand grew, we partnered with a school on the west side of Salt Lake City, distributing food from the auditorium to families in need monthly. To accommodate the increasing demand, we expanded to a facility in North Salt Lake, which we named the "Center of Hope Food Pantry." Currently under Sister Germaine Sarrazin's leadership, we assist 500+ families each month in various ways, striving to uphold dignity for all and respond to every human need.
